Lamp Testing Laboratory

The Lamp Testing Laboratory provides comprehensive testing services to evaluate the safety, quality, energy performance, and durability of lighting products (of all types of electric lamps). The laboratory supports manufacturers, designers, regulatory authorities, importers, suppliers and consumers by verifying compliance with applicable national standards. It is SLAB accredited in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, ensuring technically competent and internationally recognized testing services.

Testing is carried out in compliance with SLS 1530 under the Energy and Electrical Engineering discipline. Our laboratory facilitates testing of the electrical and photometric parameters of electric lamps in accordance with SLS standards.
